Daniel Arsenault

Daniel has a diploma in wood manufacturing technology from Holland College. He currently serves as a substitute teacher and trade show judge in this program, having graduated in 2015. Daniel has designed and crafted furniture of various kinds and has a personal catalogue, to be viewed at your request. Recently, Daniel has three individual evening courses at Hands-on Community shop in Halifax’s north end and continues to be involved in the wood working community having a passion for designing and building wood products aside from his career in the commercial construction industry in H.R.M.

07. Coffee Table

Building a standard size coffee table from solid walnut, students will get a taste of all key components of the wood shop including: jointer, planer, band saw, table saw, routers, trimmers, sanding, finishing and more. Classes will be broken down into each stage of the building process where students can learn at a good pace, ask questions to get the most out of their experience, and take home a handmade table!
