Course Overview 

In this workshop, we will explore several methods of Japanese bookbinding using traditional Japanese tools and materials. Students will begin by making a Japanese handscroll and four traditional Japanese stab bindings. Classic account and receipt book structures will also be covered. Several authentic Japanese books will be available to examine as well. Tools and materials will be provided, but if you have a bonefolder please bring it with you.
